San Pietro Resort (also known as Plazhi San Pietro or San Pietro Hotel & Residences) is a private, gated holiday and residential complex on the shores of Gjiri i Lalzit — Lalëz Bay — on Albania's northern Adriatic coast. Situated approximately 30 km north of Tirana and 20 km from Durrës, the resort occupies a prime stretch of coastline where a dense Adriatic pine forest meets the sea.
The resort was developed in the early 2000s and has grown into one of the most established villa communities in Albania. Unlike many coastal developments that prioritise density, San Pietro was built around its natural setting — the pines remain, the beach access is direct, and the atmosphere remains relaxed and private even during peak summer months.
Lalëz Bay has some of the cleanest and calmest water on Albania's coast. The beach is sandy, well-maintained and far less crowded than Durrës city beaches.
The entire resort is shaded by a dense Adriatic pine forest. This keeps the grounds cool, private and naturally beautiful — a rarity on the Albanian coast.
The resort has controlled entry, private parking and 24-hour security. Families can let children move freely within the grounds.
Seafood restaurants, beach clubs and cocktail bars are a short walk from the resort. In peak season, several options operate directly on the beachfront.
San Pietro Resort sits on the western edge of Lalëz Bay, between the town of Durrës to the south and Cape of Rodon to the north. The main highway (SH2) connects the resort to Tirana Airport in approximately 30 minutes and to Tirana city centre in around the same time. The drive is entirely on flat, well-maintained roads.
We own and manage two private villas within the resort — Villa 3B-16 and Villa 3B-18. Both have private pools, three en-suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and direct owner booking via WhatsApp. Neither villa requires booking through a platform — you deal directly with us.
